Nichia DMC LEDs
Direct Mountable Chip (DMC) by Nichia is a chip-scale LED developed using Nichia’s industry-leading expertise in phosphor and LED technology. The white series is available in four compact sizes (1.1×1.1 mm, 1.3×1.3 mm, 1.7×1.7 mm, and 2.1×2.1 mm) and supports a wide range of color temperatures from 1800K to 6500K, with high CRI options up to R9080 (Ra ≥ 90, R9 ≥ 80).
The color series expands design flexibility with five vibrant colors in the 1.1×1.1 mm size and ten in the 1.7×1.7 mm version, offering multiple output levels.
By matching the LED package size to the light-emitting surface, DMC technology enables one of the industry’s highest luminous flux densities—ideal for compact luminaires and high-intensity lighting applications.
